Talk to the old friend Huunghia,
I’ve joined this forum for more than a year already. The time is flying so fast. One of my objectives in life is to improve English all the time. The forum is a virtual world. I’ve exchanged opinions with different friends. Most of them are extremely courteous, honest, and humorous and have generous hearts, which indicate a very healthy self-image. Only a minority group, less than 1%, displays a poor attitude. I can’t change their thinking but I can change mine.
In my real life is the same thing too. One of my jobs is driving a taxi and tourist car. Most of my clients are very nice, courteous and generous. Only a minority of clients has a poor self-image. They are very rude by nature. Again, I can’t change their habits but I have an option not to participate with them.

It is definitely not enough time to learn English. You have to spend at least two hours per day to learn English.

Bimbim118. Sometimes, I picked up young girls who didn't have any money to pay the taxi fares. They asked me that I could do anything I liked. What did I suppose to do? Nothing!. I took them to the police station. That was the best thing which I could do.
Bimbim118. Thỉnh thoảng, anh chở vài cô gái trẻ, họ chẳng có đồng bạc nào dính túi để tră tiền xe taxi. Họ nói dzới anh rằng, anh muốn làm d́ tui th́ cứ làm. Tui làm cái chiện d́ mới được chớ? Chẳng làm cái d́ cả. Anh chớ họ lại đồn công an. Đó là chiện tốt nhất anh cỏ thể làm được.

I am better than good, Bimbim118. I was driving the taxi last week-end. The business was very quiet now. I spent most of my waiting time reading books and newspapers.

Failure is an event, not a person. For example :
1) You cook a bad meal. Does it indicate you are a failing person. Definitely not.
2) You have a love-sick. Does it indicate you are a failing person. Definitely not.
3) etc…
If you don’t like who you are, where you are, you can change. You can grow. Just remember what you are and where you are because of what’s gone into your mind. You can change what you are, where you are by changing what is going into your mind. This is a profound statement, Eh??????

I’m talking about the philosophy which is the foundation of the human’s nature. I have different mentors who are currently teaching me various subjects.
Definition of Mentor : A mentor is the person who has the experience in his own field. He isn’t necessary my friend. He tells me anything which may contradict my own beliefs. He’s guiding me to be a better person.

If you want me to be your friend, I am a very easy person to get along with. But if you want me to be your mentor, I’ll be a very hard person. I can blow your head off any time. That is exactly what my mentors are doing to me. They are telling me things which I don’t like to hear at all. That is the job of a mentor.
